The Incredible Hulk Game
Marvel comic books published a superhero comic book about a fictional character called the Incredible Hulk in 1962. The Hulk is an emotional and impulsive alter personality of a shy withdrawn physicist named Dr. Bruce Banner. The alter ego of Dr. Banner is created after the Dr. is exposed to a blast of gamma rays from a bomb he invented. When he feels danger or threatened Dr. Banner involuntarily transforms into the Hulk. Dr. Banner has no control over the transformation he makes when he turns into the strong, giant, green, raging monster that adds many complications to Dr. Banner’s life and causes him to go on the run. Police and other people see the Hulk as a threat and want to destroy him. Dr. Banner is always on the run to avoid the authorities because he needs to keep his freedom in order to be able to find a cure for his problem and reverse the effects of the gamma rays. The characters of Dr. Banner and the Incredible Hulk were inspired by Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with a little Frankenstein thrown in.
Over the years the Incredible Hulk has been depicted in two different television shows , movies and cartoons. The toy industry has created and been successful with Hulk toys such as the Big Green Hulk action figures, Hulk smash hands, singing hulkey pokey hulk, and posters just to name a few. Hulk games have also been created to bring this character to the masses. Recent video Incredible Hulk games include The Incredible Hulk, based on the 2008 movie, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and The Incredible Hulk: The Pantheon Saga. The main plot of these games is the same as the movie The Hulk spends his time smashing things to protect the things he wants to protect and smashes the things he is afraid of.
Over the last four decades The Hulk has been revived, marketed and brought to each generation through books, cartoons, toys and movies. Each generation of children, both boys and girls, find themselves big fans of this big green monster. They love playing with all the toys depicting this character and the characters who chase him. Incredible Hulk posters hang on their walls and the Incredible Hulk game lines their shelves awaiting play. Some characters no matter how mean and ugly they look, like the Incredible Hulke, are popular generation after generation without fail. Toy and game industries continue to market to the imagination of children succed in these arenas without fail.
