The Transformers Soundtrack is More Than Meets the Ears

The Transformers movie was a big blockbuster hit a few years back and recently they put out a sequel. The sequel didn’t receive the same critical acclaim as the original did but it did give us one hell of a Transformers movie soundtrack. Movie soundtracks are big time commodities these days. Top artists lay down tracks that try to blow our minds as the visuals on screen wow the eyes. For Blockbuster summer films like Transformers, you have to have a great soundtrack or the film just won’t be popular.
The Transformers movies are based off of an old television show and kid’s toy. The basic premise of the film is that these big robot aliens come down to Earth because they broke their old planet through war. The alien robots are going through a civil war with their people, some are good and some are evil, and Earth gets caught in the middle of it all. The cool thing about these robot aliens, and what makes them so popular with the kids, is that they are huge lumbering robots that can transform into all sorts of vehicles. There are truck transformers, car transformers, air plane transformers, and tons of other types of transformers.

You’ll want to transform and rock out to hits by main stream artists like Linkin Park, Green Day, Nickelback, Hoobastank, Cheap Trick, and even Avenged Sevenfold. Even the Transformer’s theme song is remixed and remastered.

Movie soundtracks just keep getting better and better these days. In the olden days of film there was no soundtrack. After silent films and way into modern film making, the only thing you would hear was the dialog. There was no reason to put out albums with the soundtrack because there was nothing to sell. Now movie producers strain themselves to get really big name artists to write and record songs especially for their movies. Nickelback wrote one of their biggest hits for the Spider-Man films and Simon and Garfunkle wrote an entire album’s worth of songs for Mrs. Robinson.

By listening to the soundtrack you are able to get back into the feeling of the film. The music will tug on the strings of your memory and you’ll be imagining those kick ass robots duking it out all over again.
